Today, the European Commission has published its Country-Specific Recommendations (CSRs) to the member states.
This year, CSRs are intended to have a stronger social and employment focus and aimed at a better involvement of social partners. Marianne Thyssen, Commissioner for Social Affairs and Employment, emphasised that “only by ensuring that social considerations are better integrated in all EU policy areas, we will truly achieve a Social Europe”.
