Early this week, our Serbian member Ekumenska Humanitarna Organizacija (Ecumenical Humanitarian Organisation-EHO) published its 2015 Annual Report. The report focuses on the year-round fight for solidarity and social justice throughout the country, with a particular focus on the most successful projects ran by the organisation.
In 2015, EHO pursued its mission through the implementation of projects on elderly people, children facing extreme poverty, Roma people, as well as people facing disabilities and severe diseases. Also, EHO successfully faced the 2015 most urgent emergencies in the area: the refugee crisis and the families affected by the May 2014 flooding.
Today EHO is one of the leading social service providers in Serbia, and is considered an innovator in supporting marginalised groups. EHO continues to successfully turn obstacles
into opportunities as it strives to make the society we live in a better place.
