Otwarcie Centrum Ewangelickiego we Wroclawiu
On Sunday the 19th of June, our Polish member Diakonia Polska (Polish Diaconia) inaugurated a new multifunctional centre in Wroclaw, Lower Silesia Province (PL).
The new Evangelical Parish Centre is housed in a historical complex in town, and it will be used for different purposes, including diaconia. The new facility includes rooms, kitchen, dining room, library, conference room and a tourist information office. It will also carry out a series of diaconal activities for elderly people such as home daycare and a club room for seniors.
The opening ceremony was attended by a large number of locals, including Director of Diakonia Polska Wanda Falk, President of Diakonia Polska Bishop Richard Bogusz, and the Mayor of Wroclaw Rafal Dutkiewicz.
