Early this week, our member from Serbia, the Ekumenska Humanitarna Organizacija (Ecumenical Humanitarian Organisation), published its Annual Report for 2017. The report outlines EHO’s activities for last year.
EHO is a not-for-profit citizens’ association that continues the work of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Service. Acknowledging their role both as a non-governmental organisation and a Christian one, our member continued building on its activities in 2016 to provide support and express solidarity to those who are hungry, those who are thirsty, those needing shelter, and those living with physical and mental challenges. In the Annual Report, clear examples of how EHO have provided support to those in need are visible throughout their diverse projects; distributing food packages, giving hot meals, supporting children and young people, providing for the homeless and caring for the sick.
Over the last year the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organisation ran a range of activities in about 70 different locations all over Serbia and employed about 80 people in a broad variety of tasks.
