Our Policy Officer Gabriela Agatiello has recently done an interview for ReSOMA (The Research Platform on European Asylum, Integration and Migration Policies) on private/community sponsorship programs and our members’ involvement in an AMIF-funded project on Private Sponsorship for Integration through humanitarian corridors in Italy and France. In the interview, which is featured on ReSOMA’s website, Ms. Agatiello explains what private sponsorship programs (PSPs) are all about, discusses the key elements needed in PSPs to foster refugees’ integration, and talks about the role of the European Union in supporting private sponsorship as a tool for the integration of its beneficiaries.
