As an organisation working for social justice by addressing the root causes of exclusion, we at Eurodiaconia think that the right of people with disabilities to access information that is easy to read and understand must be promoted and protected.

In the frame of Art.10 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU (TFEU) and Art.26 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU, Eurodiaconia is committed to improving the accessibility of its communications tools, to give people with disability-free access to information, providing them with the chance to know their rights and make their own choices, in order to actively take part in the European society.

Our website isn’t fully accessible just yet but every year we make further steps forward to have it near perfect.

Our website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0, produced by the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Accessibility Initiative (W3C WAI).

Our website was built using WordPress Accessibility templates and cascading style sheets to make it load faster and accessible to screen readers for blind or visually impaired users.

At Eurodiaconia we work hard to ensure our web contents are easy to read and understand for all users. We think that is fundamental to contribute to give people with disability-free access to information, providing them with the chance to know their rights and make their own choices, in order to actively take part in society.
