The European Commission has published Calls for Proposals with deadlines in May and June. The calls fall within the Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI), which is the EU is a financing instrument to promote a high level of quality and sustainable employment, guaranteeing adequate and decent social protection, combating social exclusion and poverty and improving working conditions. The following Calls for Proposals have approaching deadlines in May and June 2017.
- Call for Proposals: Preparatory action: Reactivate – Intra-EU job mobility scheme for unemployed over 35
The action will prioritise citizens who are in a vulnerable situation in the labour market, notably unemployed people, including long-term unemployed. The action aims to test the feasibility of an intra-EU job mobility scheme for the age group above 35 for the placement of EU citizens over 35 years in jobs, traineeships or apprenticeships in an EU country other than their country of residence.

- Call for Proposals: Information, consultation and participation of representatives of undertakings
The purpose of this Call for Proposals is to fund operations aimed at developing employee involvement in undertakings – meaning any mechanism, including information, consultation and participation, through which employees’ representatives may exercise an influence on decisions to be taken within the company – in particular by raising awareness and contributing to the application of EU law and policies in this area.

- Call for Proposals: Cross-border partnerships and support to cooperation on intra-EU mobility for EEA countries and social partners
The overall objectives of the call are to promote workers’ geographical mobility, to boost employment opportunities as well as support the implementation of the EURES regulation.

- Call for Proposals: Support for social dialogue
Objectives of this call include measures and initiatives related to the adaptation of social dialogue to changes in employment and work related challenges, such as addressing modernisation of the labour market, job creation and job matching, quality of work, digitalisation of the economy and society, (intra-EU) labour mobility, migration, youth employment, gender equality, action in the field of anti-discrimination, active ageing, healthier and longer working lives, active inclusion and decent work.

- Call for Proposals: Implementing the pilot stage of the European Tracking Service for pensions
The main purposes of the call are to facilitate the access of workers who exercise their right to free movement to pension information, thus contributing to their pension awareness and pension adequacy, and to support the capacity of pension schemes to provide such information, in particular to former members who have moved to another country.
