The European Commission has launched proposals in the field of education and employment within the Employment and Social Innovation programme, and the Erasmus+ programme.
The Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) programme is a EU financing instrument to promote quality and sustainable employment, guarantee adequate and decent social protection, combat social exclusion and poverty and improve working conditions. The Erasmus+ programme is the EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport, and supports the implementation of the European policy agenda for growth, jobs, equity and social inclusion.
- Call for proposals: Information and training measures for workers’ organisations
Objectives of this call include measures and initiatives to strengthen the capacity of workers’ organisations to address challenges, such as: modernisation of the labour market, labour mobility, migration, youth employment, and active inclusion. The type of activities to be funded include: conferences, seminars, roundtables, studies, surveys, publications, training courses, training tools, the setting up of networks and the development and exchange of best practices.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the call, applicants must be a social organisation representing workers at European, national or regional level.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 15th May 2017.

- Call for Proposals: Social inclusion through education, training and youth
The European Commission has launched a call for Proposals within its Erasmus+ programme to support transnational cooperation projects in the fields of education, training and youth.
Projects within the call should address one of the following aims:
- Disseminating and/or scaling up good practices on inclusive learning.
- Developing and implementing innovative methods and practices to foster inclusive education and/or youth environments in specific contexts.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants are public and private organisations active in the field of education, training and youth or other socio-economic sectors organisations.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 22nd May 2017 (12.00 noon Brussels time)

- Call for proposals: Activities in the field of undeclared work
The European Programme for Employment and Social Innovation “EaSI”, has published a new call for activities in the field of undeclared work.
The main objective of this call for proposals is to enhancing the implementation, application, knowledge and better enforcement of EU and national law in the area of undeclared work.
The type of actions to be funded include:
- Common training courses for staff involved in enforcement activities
- Joint inspections and exchange of staff of enforcement authorities
- Information exchange systems and mutual learning between enforcement bodies.
- Joint awareness raising campaigns targeted at workers to change norms, values and beliefs regarding the acceptability of participating in undeclared work
Eligibility: Eligible applicants must be either public enforcement bodies tackling undeclared work, or social partner organisations carrying out enforcement tasks.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 12 June 2017.
