The European Commission has announced calls for proposals within the Third EU Health Programme, the main funding instrument for the implementation of the EU Health Strategy. The general objectives of this programme are to support policies of the Member States aimed at improving the health of EU citizens, and reduce health inequalities by promoting health, encouraging innovation and sustainability in health systems.
- Call for Proposals: Supporting Member States in mainstreaming health promotion and disease prevention in health and educational settings
Within the Third Health Programme in the field of Health, this call for proposals aims to support policies of the Member States aimed at improving the health of Union citizens and reduce health inequalities by promoting health, and encouraging innovation and sustainability in health systems.
Eligibility: Applicants must be legally established organisations, public authorities, public sector bodies, research and health institutions, universities and higher education establishments.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 15th June 2017. (17:00 Brussels time)

- Call for Proposals: Financial contribution to the functioning of non-governmental bodies
Within the Third Health Programme in the field of Health, this call for Proposals seeks to improve the health of EU citizens and reduce health inequalities by promoting health, encouraging innovation in health, increasing the sustainability of health systems and protecting Union citizens from serious cross-border health threats.
Operating grants may be awarded to non-governmental bodies that pursue one or more of the specific objectives of the Health Programme, in particular within the following priority areas: chronic disease, dementia, access to healthcare, cancer, rare diseases and HIV/AIDs.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include single entity only and only non-governmental bodies active in the field of public health.
