“Strengthening Our Social Fabric: Eurodiaconia & The European Pillar of Social Rights” was targeted towards European policymakers, Eurodiaconia members and partners, and general public interested in social and human rights issues.
Throughout this campaign, Eurodiaconia demonstrated its commitment to advancing social rights in Europe. The campaign highlighted the critical role of the EPSR in shaping a fair and inclusive European society. Real-life impact stories showcased the application of EPSR principles through members’ work. Additionally, campaign efforts were linked to international days to boost visibility.
January-April: Focus on Education and Housing
– The campaign launched with a focus on EPSR Principle 1 (Education, Training, and Lifelong Learning) and Principle 19 (Housing).
– Informative content such as articles, blog posts, and social media posts highlighted Eurodiaconia’s work in these areas.
– Webinars and online events featuring experts and members’ experiences emphasized the importance of education and housing rights.
May-August: Emphasis on Equal Treatment and Child Care
– A social media campaign was launched for Principle 2 (Equal Treatment) and Principle 11 (Childcare and Support).
– Success stories and case studies from members aligned with these principles were shared.
– Advocacy activities included the release of policy papers and meetings with policymakers to promote these EPSR principles.
September-December: Highlight Essential Services and Pensions
– A public awareness campaign focused on Principle 20 (Access to Essential Services) and Principle 15 (Old Age Pensions).
– Collaborative events and workshops were held with relevant organizations.
– The campaign concluded with a conference summarizing the year’s activities and outcomes, reinforcing Eurodiaconia’s commitment to the EPSR.
