On Friday the 2nd of December, Eurodiaconia and Diakonie Deutschland launched their first joint social-media campaign named: ‘’Diaconia: Working for a fairer Europe.’’
The campaign is a small step forward aimed at promoting a common ‘’European diaconal identity’’ among Eurodiaconia members’ employees to foster cooperation among them, as well as to turn a spotlight on Eurodiaconia members’ responses to the most pressing social challenges in the eyes of their stakeholders. The campaign is aimed at helping Eurodiaconia members to communicate around their common goals and values on the occasion of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.
Infografics on specific countries and topics will be published until January on the Eurodiaconia and Diakonie Deutschland social media channels. The infografic will be complemented by a short text explaining the data, presenting a members’ best practices in that field, as well as relevant Eurodiaconia policy papers.
