At the request of the European Parliament Committee for Women’s Rights and Gender Equality, the European Commission has recently published a report on ‘Forced marriage from a gender perspective’, analysing the concept of forced marriage, summarising relevant policies and legislation at EU and national level, and providing concrete case studies in various EU member states.
