Four new calls for proposals have been launched to support organisations working with migrant communities and asylum seekers.
- The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) is looking for an organisation to prepare and implement the EU Survey on Immigrants and Descendants of Immigrants in 15 EU Member States. The objective is to collect comparable data through face-to-face interviews and online data collection which will be used to develop further measures to protect these groups. The survey shall cover the following 15 Member States: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. The estimated maximum contract amount is 3,210,000 EUR, excluding VAT. The duration of the contract will be a maximum of 22 months. For more information, please visit the FRA’s website.
- The Ministry of Labour in France has announced a new call for proposals for projects which aim to support the integration of refugees particularly through activities that promote even geographical distribution of refugees across France and access to post-traumatic psychological health care. Projects enhancing women’s participation in social life and refugees’ access to cultural, sports and leisure activities will also be viewed favourably. The deadline for applications is the 31st of May 2020 but could be extended depending on COVID-related regulations. For more information, please visit the Ministry’s website.
- The Secretary General of the Portuguese Ministry of Internal Administration has launched a call for proposals for projects that support the relocation of 15 unaccompanied minors per year. Eligible activities should focus on the establishment of identification procedures and the development of integration programmes. This funding opportunity is made available through the EU’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and amounts to € 64,521. Approved projects may benefit from a maximum co-financing rate of 75%. The duration of the projects should not exceed 36 months. The deadline for applications is the 7th of May 2020. - Prague City Hall has announced an open call for grant applications aimed at fostering the integration of refugees and asylum seekers, the development of community services and the prevention of social exclusion. Supported activities include the opening of new community centres, asylum houses, day care centres, social services etc. The funding is provided within the framework of the European Social Fund’s operational programme ‘Prague – Growth Pole of the Czech Republic‘. The total amount allocated for the call is 260 million CZK (around 9.6 million EUR). The maximum duration of projects is 24 months. The deadline for applications is the 17th of December 2020.
