On behalf of the Swedish government, the Authority for Youth and Civil Society will distribute 56 million SEK to organisations that need to strengthen their activities aimed at people in particularly vulnerable social situations due to the economic situation in Sweden.
The grant will be used to reinforce the applicant organisations’ existing activities and thereby meet the increased need for help and support for the most vulnerable members of society affected by Sweden’s economic situation.
The organisation can, for example, work to cover basic needs such as providing something to eat for those who do not have food for the day, helping socially particularly vulnerable individuals and families or providing a place to sleep for those who do not have a home.
The grant can be used for operational, administrative and staff costs and must be used by the 31st of December 2024.
The deadline for applying is the 29th of February 2024.
More information can be found on the website of the Swedish Authority for Youth and Civil Society.
