Diakonie Michaelshoven (Diaconia in Cologne) received a disability-friendly car from a generous private donor. The car will be used to transport people with different disabilities to activities and centers of Diakonie Michaelshoven: care centers can use the car to do groceries and to more easily organise and implement visits. The Thomashaus, a house where groups of people with mental disabilities live together, is enabled to more flexibly support people with medical visits. The network “Flüchtlinge mit Behinderung in Köln” (Refugees with disabilities in Cologne) enables an easier handling administrative visits and general support.
