Durham University in partnership with European researchers, is offering an opportunity for networking and learning alongside fellow Christians actively engaged in supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Europe. Participants should work directly with the target group and be based in a Northern, Central, or Eastern European country, whether within or outside the European Union.
The programme aims to foster collaboration, learning, and reflection among participants dedicated to supporting refugees and asylum seekers. Specifically, it will focus on how we work with those whose identities and experiences differ in some ways from our own, and how our own identities and Christian faith affect and are affected by this work.
The programme will involve a series of around 4 facilitated online workshops over a period of 8 months. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to meet other participants in person during a workshop planned for April 9th to 11th 2024, in the UK.
The programme is offered free of charge for up to 15 successful participants. The deadline for application is at 3pm UK time/4pm CET on January 19th, 2024.
