The World Council of Churches and the Churches’ Commission for Migrants in Europe launched an updated edition of their joint monitoring study entitled Mapping Migration: Mapping Churches’ Responses in Europe.
The publication, compiled by Rev. Dr Darrell Jackson and Sociologist Dr Alessia Passarelli, explores from different perspectives the challenges and changes in the European church landscape in light of international migration.
The work is a combination of sociological accounts, theological interpretation and migrant’s personal experiences and it is aimed at introducing the challenges of measuring contemporary patterns of migration in Europe and the response of the Churches.
The publication can be found here (EN).
