Yesterday, a new call for proposals to support integration of third-country nationals and legal migration was published under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).
The call – titled “Transnational actions for integration of third-country nationals in the EU member states and supporting legal migration” – aims to support legal migration and ensure common measures towards third countries nationals, by framing a policy based on solidarity between Member States.
The general AMIF call includes five specific topics of great interest for diaconal organisations:
- Local and regional integration networks;
- Legal migration projects with third countries;
- Support to victims of trafficking in human beings;
- Care for migrant minors, including unaccompanied minors;
- Engagement of diaspora communities on awareness raising.
The call for proposals is currently open for applications by selecting a specific topic. The deadline is set for 31th January 2019. The overall budget is 16.200.000 euros.
