Recently a new call for project proposals has been published under the “Rights, Equality & Citizenship” (REC) programme. The call, titled “Support for social dialogue”, will finance discussions, consultations, negotiations and joint actions to involve organisations representing the two sides of industry (employers and workers).
The proposed actions shall address the following themes:
- the employment, social and economic challenges as identified in the European Pillar of Social Rights;
- the adaptation of social dialogue to the modernisation of the labour market, job creation, job matching and labour mobility;
- the adaptation of social dialogue to management of change and digitalisation of economy and society.
The single or lead applicant must be a European level social partner organisation representing employers. Affiliated entities and associate organisations or co-applicants can also be non-profit organisations, universities and research institutes, public authorities, international organisations.
The total budget earmarked for the EU co-financing of projects (till 90% of the eligible costs) is estimated at 9.815.250 euros. The deadline for submitting applications is set for 25th September 2018.
