The European Commission has launched a consultation on the quality of retail financial services, seeking ways to improve the choice, transparency and competition for consumers and businesses. The consultation is open to all interested parties, especially to individuals and consumers as well as organisations providing financial services.
Participation is possible until 18 March 2016.
We encourage all members working on financial inclusion to take part in the public consultation as it addresses questions of financial inclusion and consumer protection. Eurodiaconia seeks to take part in the consultation as well. Therefore, input from members on the open questions as well as key questions with regard to financial exclusion will be highly welcomed.
In case of further questions or if members wish to submit input on the consultation questions, please contact Lea Schumacher under lea.schumacher@eurodiaconia.org.
