Our Norwegian member Kirkens Bymisjon has recently launched a new TV campaign to tackle bullying and youth exclusion in schools under the title “Less alone together“.
The campaign is run by Kirkens Bymisjon within the framework of a new national plan for education, aimed at tackling bullying by fostering inclusion for students. The campaign programme was developed by our member in close cooperation with the Norwegian learning platform Salaby. Through short videos, quiz, dialogues, and song, the campaign deals with topics which are parts of students’ everyday life, such as mobbing, exclusion, dress codes, settling in at school and friendship.
“This year’s TV campaign – says Kirkens Bymisjon Secretary General Adelheid Firing Hvambsal – has to do with young people’s everyday life, showcasing experiences related to everyone’s school and leisure moments. This is a great opportunity for schools to address a sensitive issue such as youth exclusion”.
The funds collected through the campaign will enable young people’s involvement in recreational activities organised by Kirkens Bymysion.
