The European Commission launched a new call for proposal under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. The AMIF will contribute in particular to strengthening and developing all aspects of the Common European Asylum System, including its international dimensions; strengthening and developing legal migration to the Member States and the effective integration and social inclusion of third country nationals; countering irregular migration enhancing effective, safe and dignified return and readmission, as well as effective initial reintegration in third countries; and enhance solidarity and responsibility sharing between the Member State.
The call for proposal is titled “Assistance, support and integration of third country national victims of trafficking in human beings (AMIF-2022-TF1-AG-THB)”. The priority of the call is to enhance the integration of the victims in the host country, taking into account their specific needs and circumstances, as well as victims among vulnerable groups, thereby contributing to the AMIF specific objective “to strengthen and develop legal migration to the Member States in accordance with their economic and social needs, and to promote and contribute to the effective integration and social inclusion of third-country nationals“. Specifically, this call will support concrete transnational measures aiming to enhance the integration of the victims in the host country, taking into account their specific needs and circumstances, as well as victims among vulnerable groups.
The deadline for applications is the 19th of May 2022.
